Celebrating the Rich Heritage of Rajasthani Folk Music at DAV Public School, Dehradun! 🌟

 

Today, our school had the immense pleasure of hosting a special SPIC MACAY programme featuring the renowned Bundu Khan Langa and Group, who captivated everyone with their soulful rendition of Rajasthani folk songs and the beautiful and graceful folk dance 'Kalbeliya'. 

 

The performance not only mesmerized the audience but also provided our students with a deep understanding and appreciation of Rajasthani culture and music. It was a cultural experience that enriched young minds and filled the air with the vibrant colors of our heritage.

 

Our Honorable Principal, Mrs. Shalini Samadhiya, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Bundu Khan Langa and his talented group, as well as the SPIC MACAY organizing committee, for their dedication to preserving and promoting the timeless traditions of Indian and world heritage. She stressed on the fact that in a world where modernization often takes the forefront, SPIC MACAY reminds us that “a nation's culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.” 🙏🌍
