Sports Cluster Level Meet UK Zone A under the aegis of DAV Sports is being held at DAV Public School DDun. The DAV Sports Flag which is a symbol of the collective pride of DAVians and inspires them all to Aspire, Achieve and Acknowledge, was hoisted by the Principal , Mrs. Shalini Samadhiya. This was followed by the recital of the DAV Gaan that embodies DAV ethos and ideals. The School Captain led the oath of allegiance to the participating athletes. Madam Principal welcomed all the athletes , coaches, escort teachers and spectators and expressed her gratitude to the Director , Dr. V. Singh for his initiative to promote sports and to to the Manager , Mrs. Alpna Sharma for her unflinching support in helping organize a humongous event as this. She declared the meet officially open. There are 549 sports enthusiasts from UK Zone A — DAV Kotdwar, DAV Haridwar, BM DAV Jagjeetpur Haridwar and DAV Dehradun – contending in BADMINTON, CHESS, KABADDI , KHO KHO , BOXING , YOGA , JUDO & WRESTLING.
