Celebrating National Space Day at IIRS: A Day of Exploration and Achievement! 🌌

 

We are thrilled to share that the students of DAV Public School, Dehradun, had an incredible experience celebrating National Space Day at the prestigious Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS). This year's National Space Day is particularly special as it marks the historic landing of Chandrayaan-3, a monumental achievement in India's space exploration journey! 🇮🇳🚀

 

The day began with an insightful lecture on the wonders of space, followed by two exciting live demonstrations—one of a Water Rocket launch and the other of a wireless rover in action. Our students were captivated by these hands-on experiences that brought the concepts of space exploration to life!

 

In the Open House Quiz, our sharp-minded students, Niharika and Swapnil Saklani (11 B) of Class (11 A), made us proud by bagging prizes for their stellar performance.

 

The creativity of our students shone brightly in the Drawing Competition on the theme "Planetary Exploration: A Giant Leap for Mankind." Mrinalini Kandpal (9B) secured the 3rd prize, and Kartik Kandpal (9B) received a consolation prize for their outstanding artwork.

 

Principal Ma'am, Mrs. Shalini Samadhiya, applauded the efforts of all the students and urged them to keep the flag of DAV Public School flying high. She encouraged everyone to actively participate in such events, which not only enhance knowledge but also foster a spirit of innovation and excellence.
